ECC’s Admissions & Records (A&R) team is united in supporting its students in successfully achieving their educational goals. A&R mission is to educate students regarding college policies, procedures, services, and online functions as it relates to student records by providing clear and concise information.
El Camino College has an open admission policy which implies that the admission process here is unselective and non-competitive. Therefore, it can be said that the acceptance rate at this college is 100%.
This means that out of a hundred students applying for the college, all hundred would be selected for admission. All that the prospective candidates need to do is to apply for the college.
First-time students applying to El Camino will need to set up a CCCApply account. Returning students who have already have a CCCapply account will be able to sign in to their account (If you do not have a CCCApply account you will need to create one). You will need a valid and active email account to complete this step successfully.
Once your CCCID account is set up you will be able to complete and submit your application to El Camino College (A CCCID will be sent to you this is not your application to El Camino College)
You should have your Social Security Number (SSN) ready for Financial Aid and Tax purposes. If an SSN is not submitted, the application processing will be delayed. It can also delay the processing of your Financial Aid.

SAT scores have been considered a good way to help colleges interpret the students' overall academic performance. But it is important to note that there is no concrete information regarding the average SAT score or similar requirements for admission to El Camino Community College District. Notably, at the university, SAT scores are not one of the mandatory requirements to get an admission.
No official data about the minimum requirements concerning the ACT scores have been made publicly available by the university. However, candidates can submit their ACT scores for securing admission to El Camino Community College District. The college doesn't put much emphasis on the same.

El Camino College has nine academic divisions - Behavioral & Social Sciences, Health Sciences & Athletics, Learning Resources, Business, Humanities, Mathematical Sciences, Fine Arts, Industry & Technology, and Natural Sciences, which comprise over 75 academic programs.
As mentioned earlier, ECC has an open admissions policy. Institutes with such admissions policy generally have very few requirements from the students to be eligible for the institute’s admission procedure. So is the case with ECC.

El Camino College may admit as a special parttime student anyone in grades 11 or 12 who, in the opinion of the college president, may benefit from instruction. These students will be subject to any change in regulations for concurrently enrolled students and all subsequent policies and procedures as adopted by El Camino College.
Admission as a special part-time student for anyone in grades 11 or 12 is subject to the requirements and limitations of El Camino College Board Policy 5060 and Administrative Procedure 5011.
Students who attend private and parochial schools follow the same residence requirement. Concurrently enrolled students shall receive credit for community college courses that they complete. Credit may be used for high school graduation, according to Section 1630, Title 5, California Administrative Code.
Concurrent Enrollment Application forms, which are available in the Admissions Office, must be presented when the student files an application for admission to the college. A separate approval must be provided for each semester or summer session in which the student is enrolled. Concurrently enrolled students must comply with all state and college policies, and all procedures, and must meet all requirements by the published deadlines for each semester and/or session.
A student 19 years or older who resides in California is classified as a district resident as defined by the California Education Code and may enroll in any courses for which he/she is qualified.
The residence is determined based on two factors: continued physical presence in California and intent to maintain California as the legal state of residence. The student cannot have engaged in any activity that contradicts California residency law and the student may not be in a classification that by law prohibits the establishment of residence.
The residence of the student under age 19 is determined by the legal residence of the student’s parents or legal guardian as defined by law.
Students applying for admission from outside the United States should send translated copies of transcripts for all high school and college work they have completed.
Students already attending school in the United States should direct the admissions offices of any high schools, colleges, or universities in the United States which they are attending, or have attended, to mail an official transcript directly to the International Student Program at El Camino College.
Transcripts translated into English from any high schools, colleges, and technical or vocational schools attended in the student’s native country must also be sent to El Camino College.

El Camino College has a rolling admissions policy regarding the deadline. The idea behind rolling admissions is that it offers the college a large application window for students — sometimes six months or longer — and that colleges respond to applicants as the applications come in instead of waiting until after a particular deadline (although sometimes rolling admissions periods do have deadlines).
This allows students to start their studies year-round. Applications are reviewed upon receipt. Applicants are notified as soon as the application requirements have been fulfilled, with most decisions made within one week from the date all documents are received.
